About Us

Kind Mentoring was founded on August 18, 2023 by Xavier Smith to strengthen the bonds of young men through mentorship and coaching. It’s our mission to help our youth, ages 10-18, build social and personal connections, to find development within self, and prepare them for their careers and futures.

Our Vision

Kind Mentoring envisions a world where every teenage male has access to kind and supportive mentorship; enabling them to grow into confident, compassionate, and successful individuals. Kind Mentoring will actively engage with teens providing guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for them to express themselves to navigate challenges of adolescence.

Our Founder

Xavier Smith is a native of Anderson, SC; born to Ushecka Ware and the Late Michael Smith; Xavier excelled in education through Anderson District 5 and graduated from Westside High School in 2015. In 2020, he became a proud graduate of Morris College, receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business Administration.

Xavier is helping to revitalize the community by mentoring at-risk youth and young men in the surrounding area. Xavier is continuing to have a positive impact on the community and continues to build character within our youth through implementing community service projects and workshops. He has a passion to see the youth thrive mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Xavier has a desire to see our young men thrive in every aspect of their lives.
